44. Billions Season 2 Episdoe 1 - A tutorial on becoming Rich and developing your mind



This is the most underrated series of all time. It stars Paul Giamatti (playing Charles Rhoades) and Damien Lewis (playing Bobby Axelrod) who performs perfectly as two people on opposite side of poles, but with equal strengths. There is no hero or villain here but who will survive and who will fall. The one who will survive will be hailed as right and and the one who will fall will be called wrong. It is a lion chasing lion battle and it is difficult to figure out who will win the battle.
I have seen season one and I was eagerly waiting for the season 2 and it has finally arrived. The character played by Damien Lewis is so good yet i hated it at the beginning. I was an avid fan of Sherlock when season 1 came and i thought that the Damien as an actor does not have what it takes to be a forceful character who would fight to win all odds. He ha this voice which feels like someone is dragging something in the corridor of the building but trying to keep quite at the same time. Giamatti is just himself and he does good acting all the time, However i have never seen any variations in his acting for a long time.

Rhoades is after Axelrod because Axelrod bends rules and does illegal things to get things done for him. While Rhoades does not have any one method for doing things, Axelrod Uses his mind powers to solve things. Axelrod is always calm and rarely shouts or gets angry. He is very passionate and rarely does anything that can be called as rash decision. He is highly energetic. One thing i learned from Axelrod is that when he gets into trouble he goes into a chamber where he goes and sits for sometime and opens an app called Samsara, which i now use extensively to meditate and think about the things that i want to do and imagine myself in the situation in want to be.

Axelrod teaches me that nothing is impossible. There is no negative character in the series. Everyone is Human here. Even Rhoades has his problems, he is a masochistic guy which is a slight pervert thing. I love this thing about characters where they use their mind to change their circumstances. I think I am going to write a complete article about it.

About the first episode of this season, Axelrod is winning like it happened in the season 1 and it is happening because by the end of the season Rhoades will be winning and We will see Axelrod in a situation where he cannot escape now and int he third season we will again see Axelrod somehow coming out of that situation. I love the wife of Rhaodes, Wendy as she is s hot and she acts liek really a dominating girl and i love her personality. There are not characters int he series which makes an impact on you as the whole story revolves around Axelrod and Rhoades, but there is a bald girl that comes in between which makes an impact on you because of her acting and the way she was acting, indifferent.

Now Sherlock's last season has ruined Sherlock for me forever. So Billions is a hope for me. Lets' wait for next episode.

Baahubali was a blockbuster in every sense. I didn't like it because as a screenplay writer I found too many faults, which I thought if avoided it could have become a legend of a film. But the film was entertaining and lead its own culture. A lot of people around me loved it. A day ago I met an IPS officer. He is a good friend of mine. He is posted in Kerala and his name is Prateesh Kumar. 73. Reviewing Boston Legal : Supreme court Speech by Alan Shore ( For Aspiring Actors)

I am sharing this video with you so that you can rehearse the lines if you want to be an actor. I love this whole scene when i first watched it ages back and it still haunts me. The way James Spader has performed this whole scene astounds me still. The perfect intonation, gaps, punctuation, speeds, pauses and whole performance is just scintillating. the big revelation came to me when i started auditioning for acting and I decided to create my showreel. So I downloaded this episode and wrote down the entire speech. It is way too long firstly, and secondly English is not my first language so there was difficulty in speaking this language. But destiny had some better plans for me and taught me something which I could not have learned otherwise.
